What’s A Bloody Caesar?

Bloody Caesars. Many people haven’t even heard of them, let alone tried them. And those who have tried a Bloody Caesar know that these cousins to the Bloody Mary are no joke. They’re delicious, refreshing, mild, and it’s downright impossible to have just one of them. When you do a Bloody Caesar right, they’re unforgettable. But seriously, let’s answer the question: what is a Bloody Caesar?

Allow us to explain.

But first, we should introduce ourselves. We’re Brian Collins and Greg Ehrich — founders and owners of 2 Dads Premium Cocktail Mixes. We’re firm believers that the best cocktails are the ones that take a stand against the norm. That’s why we create expertly-crafted mixes for drinkers who want something atypical, memorable, and delicious. We began with Bloody Marys, because we were frankly tired of the thick, subpar mixes on the market. We wanted something thin, easy to drink, with a slight kick at the end. So we made it, and the world loved it.

As our business grew, we began branching out into new cocktail mixes. We’ve always loved Bloody Caesars, but again, we felt like there were no mixes on the market that lived up to what we knew a Caesar could be. So we made one that was perfect — mild, smooth, with subtle notes of citrus.

The Bloody Mary and the Bloody Caesar go hand-in-hand if you ask us. A Bloody Mary tends to pack more punch, oftentimes with varying degrees of spiciness, dill, and stronger savory flavors. The Bloody Caesar, in many ways, is made similarly to the Bloody Mary, but the not-so-secret ingredient is clam juice. Clam juice makes the mix slightly sweeter and milder.

In our humble opinions, the Bloody Caesar and Bloody Mary are both winners for different reasons, and neither one is better than the other. Rather, they’re both perfect for different folks and different occasions! If you’re itching to taste-test the difference, we’ll gladly direct you to the greatest Bloody Caesar and Bloody Mary mixes in all the land. Click here to shop!
